Since 2003, we have been collaborating with domestic and international researchers to research network management, control, and performance evaluation technologies in information and communication networks. More recently, we have been conducting research on the use of information and communication technology in disaster relief and rescue operations, as well as algorithmic research on more abstract autonomous decentralized systems. Recent research and educational activities have been conducted by Prof. Kenichi Kourai, Prof. Kazuya Tsukamoto, and Associate Prof. Kenji Kawahara of the Department of Computer Science and Networks, in collaboration with laboratories of other departments and faculties of the university, domestic and international universities (Osaka University, Waseda University, etc., City University of New York (CCNY), Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (HCMUS), etc.), and public and private organizations such as the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), KDDI Research,Inc., and Space-Time Engineering (STE). ), KDDI Research,Inc., Space-Time Engineering (STE), and other public and private organizations, and is also a member of the IoT Network Innovation Research Center, a research center on campus.
In addition, since 2022 it has been operated as a joint laboratory with the laboratory of Associate Prof. Shibata, who was promoted to the position.
